Wake Up Snakes Campfire

All ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The whole family is invited to join us at the Long Branch amphitheater for lots of old-fashioned fun. This engaging program will be filled with entertaining activities, which may include stories, special animal guests, games, songs and of course, treats like s’mores. Longtail Salamander Excursion
10am-1pm. Ellanor C. Lawrence Park, 703-631-0013. Meet at Hemlock Overlook in Clifton Virginia to look for long tailed and three lined salamanders. Help with a salamander survey to monitor these disappearing species. Reservations Required. Directions provided. $10/family.

Evening Exploration: Reptile Camp Fire
(Families), 8-9pm, Ellanor C. Lawrence Park, Walney, 703-631-0013. Join a naturalist for a night hike to learn about our native reptiles that become nocturnal during the warmer months. Then return to a campfire for a story and to roast marshmallows and make smores. Reservations and advance payment by 7/1. $10/family.
