DATA ACCURACY:
DATA QUALITY INFORMATION (How accurate is the information?):
As good as the source. For surveys conducted by CDC staff biologists, the information is highly accurate. Federal agency biologists typically provide high quality information. Plant information tends to be of higher quality than animal information or is more detailed.
QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL MEASURES USED:
Data entry receives one quality control check by someone other than person doing the data entry.
ATTRIBUTE ACCURACY, LOGICAL CONSISTENCY, COMPLETENESS & LINEAGE:

DATA REFERENCING: SPATIAL DATA ORGANIZATION & REFERENCING:
DATA SET GEOGRAPHIC REFERENCE INFORMATION (Is it geographically referenced?):
YES, other; see comments
COMMENTS REGARDING DATA REFERENCING:
The CDC does not have its own GIS Analyst, by the Department of Fish & Game Analyst maintains coverages based on CDC data via regular database (ASCII) exports from the CDC Information Manager.
