DATABASE ABSTRACT (A brief summary of the data set): We maintain information from GAP, many museums, and literature searches, but are the distributor only for data from the UNR collection of mammals and fishes, conifers, and some redefined coverages such as hydrology. PURPOSE OF THE DATABASE: The BRRC is developing a statewide (Nevada) plan for the conservation of Nevada's biological resources. Our GIS coverages support this effort.
