DATABASE ABSTRACT (A brief summary of the data set): (1) Fish receiving tickets submitted by licensed fish processors upon purchase of fish and shellfish from commercial fisherman. Contain date landing location, processor and fisher ID's, gear used, sometimes geographic area, and species, pounds and price. (2) Log books, show estimated poundage by tow, latitude/longitude to fractional minute. (3) Species composition of rockfish species from random samples of trawl landings PURPOSE OF THE DATABASE: Management of commericial species, collection of ad valorem tax.
