| DATABASE ABSTRACT (A brief summary of the data set): |

| TABS: The TN Animal Biography System Data Base is a computerized
library of data on species distribution, habitat relationship,
life requirements, and management information for resident and
common migrant vertebrate and invertebrate species occurring in
Tennessee.
TADS: The TN Aquatic Data Base System was developed as a digital
map-based cataloging data base containing descriptive and
evaluative data for stream segments or river reaches.
TN GAP: The GAP Analysis Program is a process which researchers
and managers can obtain an overview of the present level of
protection afforded biological diversity in Tennessee, and hence
identify the "gaps" in representation of biodiversity.
