DATABASE ABSTRACT (A brief summary of the data set): Database contains approximately 6,500 occurrence records collected throughout Texas; includes all federally-listed endangered and threatened species, and most plants and vertebrate animals considered rare in Texas; also many non-rare biological features, plant communities etc., also tracked.
