| Other training data sources are digital maplets. This figure shows a digital cover (in green), containing U.S. Forest Service stand polygons, overlaid onto a raw Landsat composite. Each polygon contains land cover attributes. Digital maplets were provided for VA Department of Game and Inland Fisheries' Wildlife Management Areas, several military bases, Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, and other lands. |
