or black, with white spots; head is wide, blowhole is located forward on
the body; often 15-40 vestigial teeth are found in the jaw, these teeth
are very small; the normal male tooth is 7 cm long, 4 cm diameter; the
dorsal fin is tall and falcate; phalangeal formula: I:3; II:3-6;
III:5-6; IV:4; V:1-2; vertebral formula: C7+T9+L11+Ca20=47
