5.0 m; head is rounded with large mouth opening; flippers are small,
1/10 of body length, and located forward on the body; dorsal fin is
short, 17.8-40.6 cm; tail fluke spread is 1/5 of the body length; black
in color; 8-11 teeth on each side of each jaw, 8 cm long, 1.5-2.0 cm in
diameter; vertebral formula is C7+T10+L10+Ca23=50; phalangeal formula is
I:2,II:8,III:6,IV:4,V:2 *1043,2094,1037*; REPRODUCTION: breeding season
