Held at the Donaldson Brown Hotel and Conference Center at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA on Sept. 10-14, 2001

Past Course Offerings:

• FGDC/NBII Metadata Training Classes hosted by CMI (March 2001) CMI hosted three one-day training workshops on the FGDC Metadata Standard and Biological Data Profile this March for Don't Duck Metadata grant awardees. The training was held on the Virginia Tech campus in Blacksburg, VA. Participants produced a compliant metadata record while learning the MetaMaker software.
• GIS & Remote Sensing for Wildlife Managers Dec. 4-8, 2000 in Front Royal, VA. An Introduction to the use of Geographic Information Systems & Remote Sensing in Conservation and Wildlife Management at the Smithsonian Institutions Conservation & Research Center.
