In a nutshell... The Trevey (pronounced "tree-vee") is a dynamic, modern, sophisticated system for providing superior plans for the wildlands of landowners. It is under development and expanding to include all rural lands. The Trevey is a code phrase for a group of concepts, principles, procedures, hardware, software, marketing, required facilities and equipment, and staff that can help improve land-use and resource-related decisions. It is a system that produces reports, once called "plans" that incorporate the best knowledge based on current research and expert experience. The system creates syntheses for specific sites. One of the first web site wildland management systems, it provides backups and in-depth instructional documents, references, a glossary, and single species management suggestions ... along with optimization. Beyond analyses and description, beyond timber, the system is created for sustained wildland profits and a healthy, well-functioning ecosystem through products and services of many types. Benefits are maximized and costs minimized, subject to achieving, legally, an expected, above-bank-interest-rate-annually for 150 years (with computations sliding forward annually). Sensitive to community and diversity needs, there are many constraints that are part of the objective.
