- Yarding
- Hauling timber from the stump to a collecting point and handling it there.
- Yarding, Skyline (Skyline Logging)
- A method for moving logs to a central loading area by the use of over head cable systems that lift at least one end of the log off the ground.
- Yield Table
- A tabular statement of goods and services (typically of a forest) expected to be produced under a specified set of conditions.
- Youth Conservation Corps
- A human resource program which utilizes youth ages 15 to 18, to perform various federal agency projects. Environmental education is tied into the projects undertaken.
