Rural System, Inc. will have to understand the political and economic pressures of commodity, service, and for profit groups and their competitors. This unit will be developed further. The following list suggests some of the major players and the need for rapid communication with them, clear understanding of each on select topics, and the role they may play with (and against) the successes of Rural System, Inc. Many of them have knowledge, services, and resources that they may share with the people being served by us. The probabilities of conflicts and constraints in decision making become evident as the length of the list is studied. (Name changes,losses, and consolidation may have occurred.
