Students, with the help of specialized Web sites, are increasingly using the Internet to search and apply for all kinds of scholarships and funding sources. FastWEB is one of the scholarship services on the Web that assist students in their search for school funding. Other such sites such asCollegeNET and PrincetonReview.com may be useful.

Use conventional searches in www.Google.com and www.AltaVista.com.

General advice: Isolate your personal interest. Be as specific as possible (not in "mammals" but, for example, in "forest rodent food habits"), then seek professors working on such topics. They usually have, or have applied for, funds for continuing such studies, part of typical graduate work in this field.
