The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's NCTC in Shepherdstown, West Virginia hosts a variety of hands-on, application-oriented courses.  Their Technical Training Branch (http://training.fws.gov/TEC/NCTC_TEC.html)  in spatial technology
