Blacksburg, VA ¾ The working group is currently developing a GIS/Remote Sensing and Telemetry Working Group web page as mentioned by our Chairman. This page contains useful information on the working group, addresses to spatial data on the Web, announcements, a glossary of GIS, remote sensing and telemetry terms, and much more. The site also features a database of expertise where people can offer their experience and advice to those who may need it. This database will be searchable, so anyone with a question can quickly identify the names and addresses of those who may be able to help.
Construction of this site is on-going, and suggestions for improvement are greatly appreciated. A special thank-you is owed to Nancy Brauer of the Fish and Wildlife Information Exchange for her work in designing and maintaining this resource. Stop back often to visit the site and see new features!
