Blacksburg, VA ¾ The Organization of Fish and Wildlife Information Managers (OFWIM), the Computers Users Section of the American Fisheries Society, and the GIS/Remote Sensing and Telemetry Working Group of The Wildlife Society announce the 4th Microcomputer Applications in Fish and Wildlife Conference. The goal of this conference is to disseminate the latest information, software and application used by fisheries and wildlife professionals. The meeting will be held in October, 1999 in Stateline, Nevada (Lake Tahoe area). The meeting will feature a combination of symposia and contributed papers to address all aspects of computer applications. The conference will also feature a trade show and applications demonstration.
Abstracts for papers should be submitted to the Proceedings Chair, Rebecca Wajda, by March 1, 1999. Abstracts for presentations should be submitted on a 3.5" diskette (Word97 or ASCII) and include a hardcopy or e-mailed. The text should be a 200-word statement of objectives, principal results, and conclusions. Works in progress will also be considered. Abstracts should include the name of the presenter with address, phone number, and e-mail.
