Anyone with an interest in herpetology research, conservation, and education in Virginia can become a member of the VHS. Membership advantages include discounts on selected books and applicability for the VHS Research Grant. Most of all, being a member creates the rare opportunity to share common interests in herpetology with others. All members are encouraged to publish noteworthy herp related field notes and articles in Catesbeiana, and to participate in the Spring and Fall Meetings held annually.
Society dues are $15.00 per year ($8.00 for individuals under 18, and $20.00 for families). Annual membership includes 2 issues of Catesbeiana, 2 VHS newsletters, and a VHS bumper sticker. Membership begins and ends on a calendar year. Dues can be paid anytime via the links below or mailed to:
