• This map does not indicate presence/absence of known reptile species for Belize.
• The numbers represent presence only for species that have been reported to ocur in each quadrant.
• Knowledge gaps are suggested by quadrants where only a small number of species have been reported.
• For herpetologists wishing to contribute to the knowledge of reptile distributions in Belize it is suggested that quadrants with low numbers be selected for field work.
