Notes:
Often researchers use random points to represent non-use. We had an average of 0 over 4 years for a number of stops, which allowed us to create a true presence/absence model, not just one based on random locations.
There were similar amounts of zeros between the 2 data sets (modeled and independent), so no further splitting was required.
