Again the model was validated using both data sets. This model performed much better than the high/low model. One reason for this may be the tendency to predict the majority of the area as capable of supporting some number of bobwhite. Of the errors, the clear majority (in both sets) was to predict the landscape was capable of supporting some number of bobwhite when no bobwhite were detected.
